SPMS Wales has a team of qualified Domestic Energy Assessors (DEA) who provide Energy Performance Certificates (EPC).
EPCs tell you how energy efficient and eco-friendly a building is and gives it a rating from A (very efficient) to G (inefficient). They let the person who will use the building know how costly it will be to heat and light, and what its carbon dioxide emissions are likely to be.
Whether you’re selling or renting out a domestic property or commercial building, you must get an approved DEA to produce an EPC. This certificate will be valid for 10 years and the most up to date one must always be presented.
